HOORAY!

Tim's surgery was a success! He is getting settled in ICU as I type this and though he isn't out of the woods just yet, his doctors said they accomplished all of their goals during the surgery and are confident that Tim will recover quickly. He is in quite a bit of pain, but so far, I have been VERY impressed with the attentiveness of every doctor, nurse, patient advocate and volunteer here at Barrow. The medical staff watch Tim very closely and attend to every need, and have also been taking excellent care of the rest of us. The quality of care here has been outstanding.
